K LASER THERAPY SHINGLES TREATMENT

With the upcoming holiday season your stress levels may be elevated.  This can active an outbreak of Shingles. Shingles is caused by the varicella zoster virus, which is the same virus as the Chicken Pox. Shingles is extremely painful and there are but a few options to relieve the pain. There are 3 stages of Shingles. 1. Burning, numbing, itching pain followed by a small rash. 2. Pain and rash are followed by a red patch containing small blisters, usually filled with clear fluid. 3. Small raw ulcers that eventually dry up and crust over, forming scabs and they fall off within 2 to 4 weeks.   If your child has Chicken Pox please remember the same treatment works for them also.

K Laser Therapy is a non-invasive, pain free, light based therapy that uses a combination of red and infrared light using specific wave lengths. The photons of light are absorbed by the mitochondria in cells and results in an increase of cellular activity. This dries up the Shingles blisters, reduces inflammation and pain, alleviating the cycle of the occurrence by half the time.

K Laser Therapy will help to prevent the serious complication of PHN (Postherpetic Neuralgia). Postherpetic neuralgia is a long term condition after the shingles rash has disappeared. There may be burning, stabbing or dull pain over the area sometimes persisting for weeks, months or years. The area shows extreme sensitivity to touch. Using K Laser Therapy with specific protocols patients may notice an immediate improvement in pain of approximately 20–30% during the administration of the first 3 treatments. During the course of 8-12 treatments, patients usually experience 90-100% relief of pain and other symptoms. Of course each patient varies in their healing time.  This is an excellent alternative to taking pain medications or suffering for weeks or months.

Tell your loved ones about K Laser Therapy.  Help them be pain free and enjoy this upcoming holiday season.
